Kia ora Uncle Allen, on behalf of the Wickliffe Whanau we would like to thank you for helping our mum/sister/daughter and nanny cross that bridge to eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. “We got you hard” , although this will not be the last time we see you, you’ll always be in our hearts minds and prayers.
Thank you Haven Falls yesterday was a very special event for my mum. Seeing her grandnephew was particularly heartening, but most of all catching up with all her kaumatua & kuia mates made for a uplifting day. She was still buzzing about it today and I know this will be one of her most favourite korero to recite again. On another level, it was a great launch for the business and your attention to detail from powhiri to hakari was a good indication of how our loved ones will be treated when it comes to their time. With aroha, manaaki, rangimarie....tino pai rawa! Hope you all got some rest today....arohanui
Thanks heaps Michelle, as I have expressed to Allen, my whanau have been privileged to have had Haven Falls behind us and beside us as we mourned and journeyed taking mum back home. Your business is the wonderful people you have working with you, there was never any doubt that we were always in safe hands, thank you for your aroha, continue to make every other whanau as comfortable and reassured as we have been. Nga mihi nui

From the time we arrived, my entire family felt welcomed with the love, respect & courtesy and felt it was a "home away from home". Incredibly professional and catered to our needs, especially at a time when we had lost a loved one. Dear Michelle and Allen, Thanks you so much for all your help, support, advice and compassion over this difficult time. We could not have gone through these trying times without you both supporting us. With your help we managed to bond as a family while you took care of mum’s funeral arrangements. We were so pleased as a family to give mum a great send-off she deserved and celebrate her life. In the time of need you and your team came to our rescue, for which we will always be grateful! Nothing was too much trouble; you both were very accommodating with our needs. Thank you very much for being a part of our family. God bless you. Much aroha from our family to yours.
Kiaora whanau and friends. I just like to say that when the time comes that your loved ones have passed on I highly recommend Haven Falls Poutama Tangihanga. They were fantastic in preparing our mum for the afterlife with care and dignity that any family member deserves. Thank you all so very much Allen, Michelle, Hakopa for the smooth and beautiful transition of mum to te taha wairua, mauriora.
I want to say thank you Allen and Michelle and to all your family involved in helping us send off Dad (David Newton) In future my family will always come straight too you. After a long search of funeral homes we found Haven falls, firstly you made us feel welcome we did not know where to start so you took over, at a time like this when you find it hard to even think clearly you stood in the gap for us and helped us arrange a beautiful send off. Your place is modern and welcoming and you are kind and friendly, you were reasonable in cost yet gave my dad a classy funeral . You listen well and added that nice bit in yourself about Dad wearing that suit for me as he missed wearing it at my wedding that meant a lot to me. We felt part of your family and that auntie makes real food lol Another thing that stood out to me was how you incorporated both our cultures our Maori and European into the service. Last but not least you put my Dads name on a Christmas ball on your funeral home Christmas tree I cried when I heard this as it was so close to Christmas when he died you inspired me and I to went and got one made for our tree and it made me feel he was still part of Christmas I recommend you as the very best funeral home in Auckland. We feel we were lead to your place even though we knew nothing about you before driving there to see what your home was like we were blessed to find such amazing family people like you. I can not thank you enough but on behalf of my family Thank you for treating us so well.
