A Haven Falls Prepaid Funeral Trust offers you a safe and secured option to set aside funds for a funeral in advance. Protecting your loved ones from the financial burden of covering the expenses of your entire funeral.

There is no maximum amount, and your minimum amount would be based on the estimate provided to you at the time of registration.

Joining with a preplanned arrangement provides confidence that your wishes will be honoured, relieving your whānau of the emotional burden, and giving them the gift of peace.

How Does The Pre Paid Fund Work?

By completing an application with Haven Falls and making the minimum payment, you will have established your Haven Falls Pre-paid Trust Fund. Your funds are held in an individual solicitor’s trust account, ensuring they remain safe, secure, and independently managed.

At the time of need, the cost of your funeral will be paid directly from your individual trust account to Haven Falls Funeral Home. If any additional payment is required to meet the full cost of the funeral, your funeral director will liaise with your family or estate to arrange settlement.

Your funds cannot be withdrawn during your lifetime unless you make a formal request to do so. This provides reassurance that your funds will be available when they are needed most.

Interest earned from your pre-paid Trust account is transferred annually to Haven Falls Community Trust and distributed among the communities we serve. In this way, your pre-paid arrangement not only provides peace of mind for you and your whanau, it also makes a meaningful contribution to your community.

We will provide you with an estimate based on the services you have requested. Once your Trust Fund is activated and your pre-arrangement is in place, that estimate will be honoured for the lifetime of your active pre-paid fund with us.
