This morning Paerata Kapereira Pataka Ngahere te Pohe aka Paerata Pataka aka Paul Pataka, aka Paul Bush aka The Kiwi Canonball passed away at 4am this morning @ 80 years of age. Mean Maori Mean. He was father to Mona, Nick, Russell and Trisha. He had many mokopuna and mokopuna tuarua. He was the last of his generation and wouldn't have been sad to hear his reo karanga.
He was lying at our whanau home @ 5 Urlich Drive Ranui and arrived around 4pm. Many thanks to Alan Pukepuke and Haven Falls Poutama Tangihanga. Its awesome to have Maori around at this time.

Dear Michelle and Allen,
Thanks you so much for all your help, support, advice and compassion over this difficult time. We could not have gone through these trying times without you both supporting us. With your help we managed to bond as a family while you took care of mum’s funeral arrangements. We were so pleased as a family to give mum a great send-off she deserved and celebrate her life. In the time of need you and your team came to our rescue, for which we will always be grateful! Nothing was too much trouble; you both were very accommodating with our needs. Thank you very much for being a part of our family. God bless you.
Much aroha from our family to yours.
